As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our organization's technology infrastructure.
You will be responsible for providing technical assistance to our employees, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and maintaining overall IT operations.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a problem-solving mindset, and a strong technical background.
Position Duties and Responsibilities Helpdesk Support.
Respond to technical inquiries and requests from employees via various communication channels, including phone, email, or in-person.
Address hardware and software-related issues promptly and efficiently.
Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution:
Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to computers, laptops, peripherals, network connectivity, and software applications.
Hardware and Software Maintenance.
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, hardware components, and software applications.
Keep track of equipment inventory and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance.
User Account Management.
Administer user accounts, permissions, and access rights in various systems and applications.
Maintain security protocols and ensure compliance with IT policies.
Network Support.
Assist with network troubleshooting, ensuring connectivity, and resolving network-related issues.
Collaborate with network administrators and IT teams to maintain a stable and secure network environment.
System Upgrades and Updates.
Assist in software upgrades and system patches to ensure that all systems are up-to-date and secure.
Documentation.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of technical processes, troubleshooting procedures, and knowledge base articles for easy reference by the team and end-users.
End-User Training.
Conduct training sessions for employees on IT-related topics, such as software usage, cybersecurity best practices, and new technologies.
IT Infrastructure Monitoring.
Monitor and proactively identify potential IT-related problems or security vulnerabilities.
Implement measures to prevent and address potential issues.
IT Projects.
Collaborate with IT teams on various projects, such as system upgrades, implementation of new technologies, and process improvements.
Teamwork and Collaboration.

Minimum Requirements:
Education and Experience Required Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), and software applications.
